Born in the early 1980's, the Geoff Bailey Dancers share one common interest - a love of dance!

Our History.

Our humble beginnings saw most of the youth of Willingham village treading the boards at the local Social Club and our first production "Spring into Dance" boasted over 40 dancers!!We followed up with shows such as "Children of the night", "Down in the garden.......", "Night Inspirations " and more recently "We must believe in magic" and "Liquorice".

Guest appearances with former New Seekers lead singer Eve Graham exposed us (steady!) to a wider audience and was a great experience for the team. We were invited to present a fashion show for C&A Fashions at the Guild Hall in Cambridge and further successes followed with awards at "Superdance" and "Dancefest" and the Cambridge Dance Festivals. We have even performed at the opening ceremony for the Harley Davidson Centenary!! These days we put on our own major production about every two years. In May 2008 we performed "Dance of Life" at the Junction in Cambridge.

The Geoff Bailey Dancers Now.

Very soon we will be back with our new show, "Global", at the Mumford Theatre on Friday May 28th and Saturday May 29th 2010.

You can buy tickets online or from the box office and we would love to see you there,.

We also perform out and about around the Cambridge area, you can see the pictures of our latest outings here. This Summer we will be performing at Arbury Carnival and Cambridge Buskers Festival.

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 until 7:30 in the Blue Gymnasium at Netherhall School

Although as it is the run up to the show now we dance anytime and anywhere we can find room!!

Who are we?

We come from all sorts of different backgrounds, we are all shapes and sizes and all ages! We like to think that whoever you are, if you want to dance, you can. We welcome anyone who wants to give it a go. Why not get in touch with us?

Some of us have danced for years, some of us have danced for weeks!  If you have ever watched dancers and wished it could be you why not come and try it out. You might meet some new friends along the way!
